MCH appoints new liaison officers
 
5 August 2004, MCHJV has appointed two liaison officers to represent the Sungai Asap and lower Bakun communities in Belaga. Their initial appointments demonstrate MCH JV's keen objective to forge a close relationship with the communities in and around Bakun.

INTRODUCING
Mr. Michael Mujah Lihan MCHJV Liaison Officer Sungai Asap office (insert Mr. Michael Picture) Mr. Lihan or Michael, as popularly called, is a local from the Kayan community. He has his diploma in Public Administration from the University Technology Mara, Sabah and is currently pursuing his LLB degree through a distance-learning program from the University of London. 

His scope of responsibilities as liaison officer includes building bridges of understanding and goodwill with the community in Sungai Asap. He has eight years of experience in the same post, working for Bintulu Top Engineering Sdn Bhd and Hyundai Doz (M) Sdn Bhd. He brings to his job his valuable contacts with the local authorities and community leaders in Belaga.

INTRODUCING
En. Awang Narudin Awang Osman MCH JV Liaison Oficer Belaga office (insert En. Awang picture) En. Awang Narudin has been involved in the public services since 1966. His broad knowledge and experience concerning the local areas, ethnic groups and cultures has enabled him to speak four local dialects of Kayan, Sekapan, Kejaman and Punan.

His active itinerary includes holding the position of Secretary Committee for the Community Development in Bakun itself. He received an Excellence Service Award from the TYT Yang Dipertua Negeri in 1993 for his works and support to the state of Sarawak.
