Forty ICT trainees were beaming with pride when
they received their ‘scrolls’ in
a certificate presentation ceremony held on February
15, 2008 at the new ICT Centre situated at Sg
Asap District Office. The training given included
for practical skills like MS Office and internet
navigation. These programmes received encouraging
participation from the local community leaders,
the women’s bureau and students.
Now that they have acquired some skills the ‘graduates’ can
look forward to securing employment and earning
some income.
Mr Kuba Lusat, the new Sg Asap Officer (SAO)
graced the event and presented the scrolls to
the training participants.
